Data stored on your device

Admin Guard stores Shopify store handles you enter, your store labels, environment classifications, enabled state, and selected confirmation rules in Chrome local extension storage. These settings are not synced to our servers.

Data processed locally

On admin.shopify.com, the extension reads the current store handle from the URL, the tab title, and the accessible label of a control when you activate it. This processing happens on your device to display store indicators and recognize a protected action. Control labels, tab titles, and page content are not retained or transmitted.

Admin Guard does not access order details, customer records, credentials, or payment data.

No remote collection

The extension makes no remote network requests and has no account, analytics, advertising, AI, telemetry, or click log. We do not receive, sell, or share extension data.

Permissions

Storage saves your configuration locally. Access to admin.shopify.com displays your selected store identity and recognizes configured action controls inside Shopify Admin.

Your control

You can disable Admin Guard, remove individual stores, export your configuration, or uninstall the extension. Uninstalling clears extension-local settings. Exported backup files remain wherever you saved them until you delete them.
