Install Admin Guard

1. Open Admin Guard in the Chrome Web Store and choose Add to Chrome.
2. Open Admin Guard, choose Manage stores, and add the handle from your Shopify Admin URL.
3. Refresh any Shopify Admin tabs that were already open.

Try it safely

Choose Try the safe demo from Store settings. The demo uses simulated stores and actions, so it cannot change Shopify data.

Coverage

Admin Guard recognizes a conservative set of English Publish, Delete, and Refund controls in the top-level Shopify Admin page. Embedded apps, non-English labels, scripts, and future Shopify UI changes may fall outside coverage.

Troubleshooting

• If a store says Unconfigured, copy its handle from admin.shopify.com/store/your-handle into Store settings.
• If a tab was open during installation or an update, refresh it.
• If an action is not paused, record the exact label and Shopify Admin area. Do not test on a critical record.
• Use Export settings before reinstalling or moving to another browser profile.
